OSAKA DESIGN WEEK 2026 draws on 45 years of sister-city friendship between Osaka and Milan, presenting design rooted in lifestyle at large — from architecture and product to food and beyond — across the city itself as its stage. We want this to be a place where Japanese and Italian creatives connect, where the next generation of designers finds its footing, and where Osaka's particular energy gets to speak for itself. The logo — designed around a typeface rooted in Italian tradition, finished with a vermillion seal — expresses exactly that: the spirit of Osaka people, simple, bold, and playful.
